I'm sure you are all wondering where I am, but I promise I will be able to blog alot more this weekend. I have been having a great time in College Station which is sadly about to end next week. Then we are moving out of our apartment so there is alot happening in the next few weeks.
I'll add this little bit...Our Easter was great! We missed seeing our families because Robert came down to CS and we spent the holiday with my host family. It was fun being around different traditions and sharing our own, we even went on a crazy bike ride... basically everywhere in the beginning was down hill and to get back to the house was all uphill (ahh!).... but it was fun.
So hang in there till this weekend and I can write more! God bless!

I am the Taskmaster!
I can't believe its already past the midterm of this clinical rotation. I'm loving College Station in every way possible and I don't know if I'm ready for it to end! Yes I'm excited about my other rotations, but this one is going so well that I want to keep learning as much as I can from it! I mean once I'm done here its off to Dallas and having to learn a new way of therapy for another 7 weeks...yadda yadda... and so forth, but I'm happily content right where I am for now. I've actually surprised myself in multiple ways with just how well things are going... as in my confidence level is through the roof, I get along with my CI (clinical instructor) better than ever expected, I've had to adapt some pretty interesting patient situations, and I've had to communicate with multiple different health professionals on a weekly basis... and I haven't freaked out yet!
So overall this experience is a thumbs up for me... of course there is still alot I need to work on and alot I want to improve... but for the most part its all smiles for now!
Title: on of my patients calls me the Taskmaster because I push him very hard every day and he always tells everyone that I'm trying to kill him... which of course is a joke... but I kinda like Taskmaster don't you?
On another note: please pray for Robert and I, he is exploring different job options and by the end of the month we kinda have to have a decision ready which is scary, but life. I'm so beyond ready to be with him, in one location, without having to worry about traveling or whatnot! It's time we got to be the married couple we've always wanted to be! So please keep us in your prayers as we seek to walk down the path God wants us to and not the one we necessarily want to... thanks!

Lancelot and Guinevere
Well Robert and I had a fabulous weekend in College Station together! We spent the weekend at the Messina Hoff Winery located in Bryan. Lets just say that we had plenty of good wine and even some mimosas for breakfast! And the weather was gorgeous so we had plenty of time to walk around the winery amongst our free tasting on Saturday... and not to mention getting to eat at all our favorite eating places!
We stayed in the room called Lancelot and Guinevere- complete with whirlpool tub and torches from some England Castle or something... no really thats what they said! Once I get the picture on here you can see for yourself. I could not have asked for a better weekend with Robert... we can use every minute together we can get... its just funny that we have sort of resorted back to our old dating days with myself in CS and Robert far away... oh the fun never ends right.
Well we got alot of great pictures that I would love to post, but my internet is messing up a little so enjoy these few pictures as a preview of our amazing weekend!

The Restaurant at the Villa...
this table was next to us. We were encased in the wine barrels... it was beautiful

I can't wait to see you again Robert!

Sweet Love
This weekend was funny crazy... I was supposed to be in Midland for a wedding on Saturday, but my flight was delayed to Houston... thus I would have missed my connecting flight and thus be stuck in Houston. So, alas, I canceled my flights and opted to stay in CS doing some studying...
Until...
Robert came back to Texas!! Thats right...no more WV (at least for now). He flew into Abilene Saturday afternoon... so we decided to do something last minute b/c of course we haven't seen each other in 5 weeks. With my flight rebate money we bought a hotel in some random town called Copperas Cove, TX... its right next to Kileen which has a pretty descent mall and assortment of food places. Why we chose CC, TX... becuase it was pretty much half way in between Abilene and CS and orbitz.com had a great rate :)
It was great to see Robert and even harder to part ways again on Sunday, but we both knew we had to work and we actually have a special weekend getaway planned in CS this coming up Friday, yay! So thank you for your prayers... our relationship has definitely had its fair share of long distance moments and I can't wait for this to all be over!
Hope everyone has a great week!

Happiness
Clinical= awesome! Things are great, which is a relief, and I'm getting lots of hands-on experience which is also a good thing. Plus I'm in my favorite city of all times- College Station! I love all the amazing food places/coffee shops/and Aggie-everything-everywhere! Definitely one of the loves in my life...But, I'm becoming a grandma for sure though with going to bed early and getting vary tired early (like 9:30ish to 10- I know its early!) Just not used to standing all day (thank you PT school for making me sit the last 1.5 years) But none-the-less I have been an early to bed, early to rise kind of woman lately.
An added bonus to this adventure is the amazing family I'm staying with... I'm staying with an old professor friend from A&M, her husband, and 2 sons, in their ranch style house. Its kinda out in the woods a little, but it adds some great scenery to my life... and it makes walking outside in the mornings very lovely. And we get to eat dinner together (most nights) which is very fun and makes me excited for when I have my own family to sit down to dinner with... or at least just Robert in the same town with me...
Overall the report for the first 2 days is good... exhausting, but good!
Take care everyone! (and keep praying that Robert can come home!)

Packing
My feet hurt... its after midnight, but I just can't seem to stop packing because I know I'll never go to sleep knowing I have more to pack and only one more day till I officially leave Abilene and head to CS. Wow... So far I have painted, folded almost all our clothes, packed up all the picture frames, tackled the kitchen, and made a disaster. At least I've been getting a pretty good workout being on my feet and lifting a million things... hence the feet hurting. I'm having mixed emotions now about all this packing and moving, but I attribute that to my needing to be in control and not having enough time to prepare kind of mind set. I have about 34 hours left to get everything done (and sleep) which just brings in the reality that times are changing. So while I drown in a sea of duct tape and boxes, my excitement keeps building (as does my longing to see my husband). I sure hope my car can handle all the books and binders I'm going to stuff into the trunk!!
